JK Police Constable PET/PST Cut-Off Marks 2025
The JKSSB has announced the category-wise cut-off marks for the Constable recruitment PET/PST stage. Candidates who scored equal to or above these cutoff marks are eligible for PET/PST of JKSSB Constable recruitment.
OM (Open Merit): 48
RBA (Resident of Backward Areas): 38
SC (Scheduled Caste): 33
ST-1 (Scheduled Tribe-1): 28.75
ST-2 (Scheduled Tribe-2): 30
OBC (Other Backward Classes): 27

JK Police Constable PST/PET Schedule 2025
The PST and PET for JK Police Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF/Executive) posts will be conducted in two phases:
- Srinagar Zone: Tentatively from the 3rd week of August 2025
- Jammu Zone: Tentatively from the 3rd week of September 2025
Physical Standards Required for JK Police Constable
As per S.O. 214 dated 01-07-2021 the candidates should meet below physical criteria for PET/PST of Constable:
- Height: Male: Minimum 5’6” (167.5 cm). Female: Minimum 5’2” (157.5 cm)
- Chest (For Male Candidates Only):
- Minimum 32” (81.28 cm) (unexpanded)
- Minimum 33.5” (85.09 cm) (expanded)
Physical Endurance Test (PET) Standards
- Male Candidates: 1600 Meters Run: To be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds. Long Jump: 3.8 Meters in 3 attempts. High Jump: 1.2 Meters in 3 attempts.
- Female Candidates: 800 Meters Run: To be completed in 4 minutes 30 seconds. Long Jump: 3.0 Meters in 3 attempts. High Jump: 1.0 Meter in 3 attempts.
Candidates who fail to meet these standards will be disqualified from selection as constable.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Document Verification: Candidates should bring their admit card and original ID proof (Aadhar/Voter ID/PAN/Passport).
- No Second Chance: Absence on the scheduled PST/PET date will result in automatic disqualification.
- Qualifying Nature: PST/PET is only a qualifying stage and does then after DV amd Medical a final merit list will be released by JKSSB.
